This guide will help you resolve some common issues that may occur after a major update to the Kathana client.

**For the most common issues, start by verifying your game files:**
1. Close and restart Steam as an Administrator.
2. In your Steam Library, right-click **Kathana** and select **Properties**.
3. In the pop-up window, go to **Installed Files**.
4. Click **Verify Integrity of Game Files**.

If verifying the files did not fix the problem, try the following steps:
1. Make sure Steam is running as an Administrator.
2. Uninstall and reinstall Kathana.
3. Launch the game.
4. When the launcher opens, go to **Settings**.
5. Click the **Fix EasyAntiCheat** button.

If you encounter the **EOS Authentication Unavailable** error, try the following:
1. Close the game.
1. Close the launcher.
1. Go to the game’s installation folder and run `KatahanaGame.exe` as Administrator.
1. You will notice that it does not open.
1. After that, launch the game from Steam as usual.

If the issue persists, please [submit a ticket](https://discord.com/channels/1363839027114934315/1363859739431276655) describing the problem and attach the following files:
* `Kathana.txt`
* The most recent crash dump file (e.g., `KathanaCrash_20250809_075909.dmp`)
